Why Be Fair
We've discussed in the past about how our brand is "everything we do". As an SEO provider, business owner, or service provider, your brand is more than your logo, website and advertising. It's also what you say, what you do, how you act, and how you treat people. Today, let's look at the benefits of using fairness as a way to add value to your brand. The Importance Of Reciprocation We all know about "win-win" deals. The best deals leave enough on both sides of the deal so both parties can prosper.

Ask.com Puts Its NASCAR Sponsorship Back In Garage
Ask.com has ended its NASCAR sponsorship after one year. That’s according to The Sporting News, which reports that the sponsorship was actually fairly successful for Ask.com. The Bing Search Blog announced Microsoft has extended their search deal with Facebook. Microsoft and Yahoo! Make It Official, Now Time for Some Good Ol’ Fashioned Politicking
Microsoft and Yahoo! have finalized the search agreement initially announced last July . Originally, they had planned to finalize things by late October . When they didn't meet that deadline, they assured everyone that progress had been made. Here's the joint statement released by both parties: Microsoft and Yahoo! believe that this deal will create a sustainable and more compelling alternative in search that can provide consumers, advertisers and publishers real choice, better value, and more innovation. Yahoo! and Microsoft welcome the broad support the deal has received from key players in the advertising industry and remain hopeful that the closing of the transaction can occur in early 2010. Now for the fun part: regulatory approval. Advertisers are largely in favor of the deal , since it would create a much stronger competitor to Google.

Real-Time Search Results vs. Real-Time Data Collection?
Easy AdSense by Unreal While much of the focus of yesterday’s dueling announcements from Google and Microsoft that each search engine would be including real-time Twitter feeds in its search results dealt with the potential benefits to users, I think that’s just a side-effect of the deal. It would seem to me that the bigger benefit here is that the data from Twitter’s so-called “firehose” of all current Tweets would be a boon to each search engine’s organic search efforts, allowing them to creat
